A multi-use structure for the Dartmouth College and Upper Valley Jewish communities. This 11,000 square foot building sits comfortably in the transition zone between a residential neighborhood and the Dartmouth College campus. The passive solar natural ventilation and sustainable materials are green features of this project. The primary worship space and a research library flank classrooms, kitchen, office, social corridor and related support spaces. We were Associate Architects with responsibilities for site plan review, contract documents, bid negotiation and construction phases. The Design Architect was Frances Halsband of Kliment and Halsband in New York, New York.
